Twin Cities Team Brings Resolution to Tragic Child Neglect Case for $1.5 Million

Kendrea Johnson was only six years old when she was found dead, hanging from a jump rope in the home of her foster parent in an apparent suicide. In the four years since her 2014 passing, Kendrea's family has fought Hennepin County to hold them accountable not simply for her death, but for ignoring the ongoing warning signs of impending danger.

Andrew Irlbeck was part of the trio of Twin Cities attorneys that negotiated the $1.5 million dollar settlement with Hennepin county on behalf of Kendrea's family. The settlement amounts to one of the largest of its kind in Minnesota.
